5.2.4 भोजपुरी के संज्ञा प जोर: Bhojpuri ke Sangya par Jor: [Method to Stress on a Noun]

जोर देबे के तरीका Jor deve ke tarika: [Emphasis on a noun:]

(1)       जोर देबे खातिर, पुलिंग निर्जीव संज्ञा के बाद '-वा' जोडल जाला 

            Jor deve khaatir,  puling / nirjeev sangya ke baad me` ‘-waa’ joRal jaala.  

           [For giving stress on a noun: ‘-waa’ is added to it as aa ending after a masculine noun. Incase there is a case sign, '-we' is added inplace of '-waa']

               जइसे Udaaharan: Example:

            :घर  ghar = a house                     > घरवा gharwaa,  gharwe me`

            [eg.:ghar = a house, gharwaa= a particular house, the house

            gharwe me` = in a particular house, in the house itself.]

:           लोटा loTaa = a water-pot      > लोटवा lotawaa = a particular water-pot

           

:           लड़का laRakaa = a boy         > लडक़वा laRakwaa = the same boy]

:          बाघ  baagh = a tiger                 > बघवा baghawaa [ the same tigar.]

(2)       स्त्रीलिंग / छोट चीज के बाद '-इया' जोड़ देल जाला Striling / ch~oT sabd ke baad jor debe khaatir sabd ke baad ‘iaa’ cahhe ‘–iyaa’  joRal jaala.             [After a faminine / a small word ‘-iyaa’ is added for giving stress.]

जइसे Uda: Ex.

:           लड़की laRaki > लडकिया LaRakiaa [eg. :a girl > a particular girl]

:           लोटकी loTaki > लताकिया loTakiaa [:a small pot > a particular pot.]

:           गाड़ी gaaRi > gaRiaa [: a vehicle > a particular vehicles.]
